Ampelaion p.c. was founded on December of 2012. The main participant is SITIAS ASSOCIATION OF RAISIN, which was established in 1929 and was a standard vertical cooperative unit.In 1976, the association extended its activities, with the same way of management, to the olive oil. It created the first, Pan-Hellenic, standard unit of oil production in Sitia. Sitia, is a blessed region and with its ideal microclimate contributes to the production of an unrivalled product as far as it concerns its taste and its nutritional value with unique physicochemical and organoleptic properties. Its uniqueness has repeatedly been recognized and awarded at a global level.The company is certified with ISO 9001:2000During the bottling and packaging stage we apply all the necessary strict security measures in order to make sure that the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and all the other products are totally from natural and safe products of exceptional quality. We have adopted a traceability track system in order to provide all necessary information regarding our products to the consumers and the authorities, from the first stage of production to the terminal destination on the shelves of super-markets. All products are certified with ISO 22000:2005, P.D.O (Protected Designation of Origin) according to the rules of European Union. This way Ampelaion Olive Oil lets the consumers know about the origin and the exact route of its products.We, at Ampelaion p.c. have the vision to expand our partnerships throughout the world , bringing this fine cretan product to caring consumers.
